Perform RAG Sync

The RAG cache stores computed embeddings so they are not needlessly regenerated. Syncing an RAG cache allows you to retrieve the computed embeddings from an external AI server. To allow RAG cache syncing, both source and destination must have Require API Key enabled, and the Allow Sync Access option enabled for the selected space.

To perform a RAG sync:

1. Click the AI Services > Settings tab.

2. Click Show Advanced Settings.

3. Click Do RAG Sync.

4. In the Synchronize RAG Cache dialog, enter the following information:

   • Source (External) AI Server: The URL or IP address for the external AI server.

   • API Key for Source (External) AI Server RAG: The API key to provide acces to the external AI server.

   • Select Manually specify Destination (Current Machine) AI Server and the URL or IP address for the destination machine. By default, the IP address of the current machine is used.

   • RAG Spaces: Click Get Available RAG Spaces to gather the list from the external server.

5. Click Sync RAG.

   Note  Updates on the RAG sync status appear in the Notifications in Admin Console.
