Startup settings
To specify startup settings, click the Configuration > General Settings tab.

You can start or stop the Database Server or the Web Publishing Engine without restarting the machine. See Starting or stopping FileMaker Server components.

You can manually start the Database Server and Web Publishing Engine if you don't enable the startup settings. When the machine restarts, you can start Admin Console, then start the Database Server, the Web Publishing Engine, or both. See Starting or stopping FileMaker Server components.
