License settings

To manage your FileMaker Server licenses, click the Administration > FileMaker Licenses tab.

You can also use Claris Customer Console to manage your FileMaker Server license. See "Managing FileMaker Server licenses in Claris Customer Console" in the Knowledge Base.

To Do this

View your FileMaker Server license details

Review the information listed under License Details.

Show the currently installed license

Click Show License Key.

Update your FileMaker Server license

  1. Click Import License Certificate.

  2. Click Browse and select the license certificate file you received with your electronic download.

  3. Enter the organization name specified in your purchase agreement.

  4. Click Change.

    You can also update the license certificate if you were previously using a trial version. For information, visit the Claris Store. See About the license.

Increase the limit on client connections for your server

Click Buy More. Follow the instructions in the Claris Store to update your license. See User license details and Concurrent Connections License details.

Update your purchase agreement with recent changes

Click Sync License. See Syncing your license information.

Set up Claris Studio and Claris Connect

Click Go to Claris Studio. See Setting up Claris Studio and Claris Connect.
