Starting, stopping, and updating the AI model server

To start the AI model server:

  1. Click the AI Services > Model Server tab.

  2. Set Status to Enabled.

  3. Navigate to the Miniforge website specified in the Set Up Model Server dialog, then download the specified file.

  4. Click Browse, then select the Miniforge installation file.

  5. Click Upload File.

To stop the AI model server:

  1. Click the AI Services > Model Server tab.

  2. Set Status to Disabled.

  3. Click Confirm.

To stop the AI model server and update the miniforge installation:

  1. Click the AI Services > Model Server tab.

  2. Click Manage in the Installation Location row.

  3. Click Update Dependencies.

  4. Click Confirm.

To stop the AI model server and remove the miniforge installation:

  1. Click the AI Services > Model Server tab.

  2. Click Manage in the Installation Location row.

  3. Click Remove Environment.

  4. Click Confirm.

To allow models to be downloaded from Hugging Face:

  1. Click the AI Services > Model Server tab.

  2. Enter a Hugging Face Token.

  3. Click Register to save changes.

Note  You will need a Hugging Face account and token to allow some models to be downloaded from the Hugging Face website. See Hugging Face for more information.

To change your Hugging Face token:

  1. Click the AI Services > Model Server tab.

  2. Click Change to clear the existing token.

  3. Enter the Hugging Face Token.

  4. Click Register to save changes.

To clear your Hugging Face token:

  1. Click the AI Services > Model Server tab.

  2. Click Revoke to clear the existing token.
