FileMaker scripting processes limit

This option sets the maximum number of FileMaker Script Engine (FMSE) processes that are allowed to run simultaneously; sessions over this limit are queued. This applies to all server-side scripts, whether started by FileMaker clients or by schedules. At a minimum, the FMSE always allows as many simultaneous sessions as the number of CPU cores in the primary machine, regardless of this setting.

To modify the FileMaker scripting processes limit:

  1. In Admin Console, click the Configuration > FileMaker Clients tab.

  2. Click Change next to Number of FileMaker Script Engine Processes.

  3. Select your preferred value from the available options.

Note  Not all options may be available depending on your system's hardware limitations.

  4. Click Yes in the dialog to confirm the restart of the FileMaker Server Scripting Engine.
