To create a backup schedule:
- Click Create Schedule.
- Enter a Schedule Name.
- Select the backup type. See Selecting the backup type.
- Specify the backup folder.
You can specify the path to your own backup folder or use the default backup folder. To specify the path, enter:

filemac:/[backup folder path]/
Linux:
filelinux:/[backup folder path]/
If the path is not valid, see Tips for valid folders.
- Specify the schedule details. See Specifying backup schedule details.
- Click Save.
Notes
- A new backup schedule is enabled by default if its next run time is valid.
- Sometimes it is easier to duplicate and edit an existing schedule rather than define a new schedule.
To duplicate a backup schedule:
- Select the schedule and click Duplicate.
To rename a backup schedule:
- Select the schedule and click Settings.
- At the bottom of the settings, click Edit and enter a new name.
- Click Save.
To edit a backup schedule:
- Select a schedule and click Settings.
- At the bottom of the settings, click Edit.
- Make your changes to schedule details. See Specifying backup schedule details.
- Click Save.
To delete a schedule:
- Select a schedule and click Delete.
Notes
- Admin Console allows you to save your schedules to a settings file and load the settings file to restore previously saved schedules. See Saving and loading schedules.
- To configure the default backup folder that appears, see Database and backup folder settings.
