Creating or changing a backup schedule

Make all changes on the Configuration > Schedules tab.

To create a backup schedule:

  1. Click Create Schedule.

  2. Enter a Schedule Name.

  3. Select Backup for Schedule Type.

  4. Select the backup type. See Selecting the backup type.

  5. Specify the backup folder.

    You can specify the path to your own backup folder or use the default backup folder. To specify the path, enter:

    Windows: filewin:/[backup folder path]/

    macOS: filemac:/[backup folder path]/

    Linux: filelinux:/[backup folder path]/

  6. Specify the schedule details. See Specifying backup schedule details.

  7. Click Create.

Notes 

  • A new backup schedule is enabled by default if its next run time is valid.

  • Sometimes it is easier to duplicate and edit an existing schedule rather than define a new schedule.

To duplicate a backup schedule:

  • Select the schedule and click Duplicate.

To rename a backup schedule:

  1. For the schedule you want to rename, select the schedule checkbox.

  2. Click the Edit button.

  3. For Schedule Name, enter a new name.

  4. Click Save.

To edit a backup schedule:

  1. For the schedule you want to edit, select the schedule checkbox.

  2. Click the Edit button.

  3. Make your changes to schedule details. See Specifying backup schedule details.

  4. Click Save.

To delete a schedule:

  1. For the schedule you want to delete, select the schedule checkbox.

  2. Click the Delete button.

  3. Click Delete to confirm deletion.
