Adding a FileMaker connector action

You can use the Claris FileMaker Cloud or Claris FileMaker Server connectors to add actions to a flow. You can choose from several actions, as shown in the badge text for each connector.

To use a FileMaker connector action in a flow:

  1. Select the connector in a flow step.

  2. On the Action page, select the action (for example, Create record), then click Continue.

  3. Do one of the following based on which connector you're using, then click Continue:

    1. Claris FileMaker Cloud - Click Sign in to Claris FileMaker Cloud, select a team, then click Sign In.

    2. Claris FileMaker Server - Click Sign in to Claris FileMaker Server, enter your FileMaker Server Domain, your username and password, and the target database, then click Sign In.

    3. Claris FileMaker Server On-Premise - Click Sign in to Claris FileMaker Server On-Premise, Enter the Agent Key for your On-Premise Agent and a Connection Name, then click Sign In.

  4. Choose the layout to use in your custom app, configure the step, then click Save.

    Only the fields in the chosen layout are available for use as step data in your flow. See Using step data.
