Working with favorite files and hosts
To manage favorite files:

Choose File > Favorites > Show Favorites.
Alternatively:

Windows: In the My Apps, Recent or Create window, click Favorites.

macOS: In the Home window, click Favorites.

In the Favorites window:

Add a local file as a favorite

Windows: Click Add App, click From Browse, then choose a filename.

macOS: Click From Local, then choose a filename.
Add a file shared on the network as a favorite

Windows: Click Add App, click From Hosts, choose a host, then choose a filename.

macOS: Click From Host, choose a host, then choose a filename.
If no hosts are displayed, click the arrow next to a team name (FileMaker Cloud) or Local.
Remove a favorite file
Right-click the filename, then choose Remove. Or select the filename, then press Delete.
Note The file isn't deleted from the hard disk; it is only removed from the Favorites window.

To manage favorite hosts:

Choose File > Hosts > Show Hosts.
Or click Hosts in the Open File dialog.

Next to a team name (FileMaker Cloud) or Local, click the arrow.
Make a host a favorite
Right-click the host name in the list, then click Add Favorite.
If you don't see the host, enter the host name in the hosts search box. Or click
to display the Add Favorite Host dialog.Remove a favorite host
Right-click the host name, then click Remove Favorite.
Edit a favorite host
Right-click the host name, then click Edit Favorite.

To add the current file as a favorite, choose File > Favorites > Add Current File to Favorites.
