Changing your password for a file
For FileMaker file accounts, FileMaker Pro may display a Change Password dialog box when you try to open a file. This can occur in two situations:
The first time you open a file. The administrator of the file may have specified a temporary password that you must change the first time you open the file.
When your password expires. Your password may expire at a regular interval and require you to specify a new password in order to open the file.
You can also change your password whenever you want if your privileges permit it.
To change your password:
Choose File menu > Change Password.
In the Change Password dialog box, enter your old password once and your new password twice in the appropriate fields.
Changing passwords requires you to sign in again to the same file with the new credentials
