Changing user credentials

To change the your user name or password, use one of the following:

• In Admin Console, change your user name and password on the Administration > Administrator tab. See FileMaker Server Help.

• In the CLI, change your password. For example, enter:

  fmsadmin resetpw -p [pass] -z [pin]

  where [pass] is the new password, and [pin] is your PIN number.

  Note  Your PIN number was set during the FileMaker Server for Linux installation.
