Setting up the web server

In all deployments, FileMaker Server uses Internet Information Services (IIS) in Windows, Apache in macOS, or Apache or Nginx in Linux. The web server serves web publishing clients, hosts the web-based Admin Console application, and handles some data transfer tasks.
