Entering or editing OAuth 2.0 email options

To send email through OAuth 2.0, you must supply information about the sender and the OAuth 2.0 information in the OAuth 2.0 Options dialog. FileMaker Pro uses this information whenever you send email through OAuth 2.0. You do not have to enter it each time you send email.

To enter or edit OAuth 2.0 options:

  1. Display the Send Mail dialog by doing either of the following.

  2. In the Send Mail dialog:

    • to enter OAuth 2.0 options for the first time, for Send via, choose OAuth 2.0

    • to edit OAuth 2.0 options (and OAuth 2.0 is selected), click Specify

  3. In the OAuth 2.0 Options dialog, enter email and OAuth 2.0 information.

    • User Information:

      For Do this

      OAuth 2.0 Provider

      Select Microsoft or Google.

      Name

Enter the name of the email sender (for example, your name). This name appears in the From field of your outgoing messages.

      E-mail Address

Enter the email address from which outgoing mail will be sent (for example, Me@MyCompany.com).

Note  This option is grayed out when Microsoft is selected as the OAuth 2.0 provider. The outgoing mail will be sent from the email address entered in User Principal Name.

      Reply-To Address

Enter the email address to which incoming replies will be sent. This can be different from the outgoing address (for example, You@MyCompany.com). If you do not enter a reply-to address, replies will be sent to the outgoing address.
