Enabling HTTPS tunneling
In some network environments, using the standard secure port 443 may be preferred. Enabling this option allows FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Go to use port 443 instead of 5003 to communicate with FileMaker Cloud.
Note Enabling or disabling the HTTPS Tunneling option requires you to restart FileMaker Cloud.
To enable FileMaker HTTPS tunneling settings:
-
Open Admin Console, click the Configuration > FileMaker Clients tab.
-
Set HTTPS Tunneling to Enabled.
-
Restart FileMaker Cloud when prompted.
-
Enable the corresponding HTTPS Tunneling options in FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Go:
-
For FileMaker Pro, see "Setting general preferences" in FileMaker Pro Help.
-
For FileMaker Go, see "Enable HTTPS tunneling to hosts" in FileMaker Go Help.
-
Notes
-
Restarting FileMaker Cloud disconnects all connected clients.
