Resolving data errors

When uploading SIS data to Apple School Manager, it's possible for there to be errors in the data. The Apple School Manager connector provides actions that can be used to troubleshoot and mitigate errors in your SIS data:

  • Validate Apple School Manager ZIP file - Validates data against Apple School Manager's validation rules and generates an error report that identifies errors in your CSV files. This step is included by default in all SIS templates.

    To access and download this file, in Claris Connect, go to the History tab of the flow, click the flow that had issues, then click View report next to the validation step.

  • Patch Apple School Manager CSV data - Temporarily modifies data in CSV files based on common error scenarios so that the flow run is more likely succeed. This step can be added to any flow that uploads data to Apple School Manager. See Patching data errors in Apple School Manager CSVs in Claris Connect Help.
