Renaming layout object, part, or background styles You can rename a custom style for an object, a layout part, or the layout background. You can’t rename default styles. To rename an object, layout part, or background style: 1. In Layout mode, click Inspector in the layout bar, then click Appearance. 2. For Style, click and choose Rename Style. 3. Type a new name, then click OK. Tip You can also rename styles in the Styles tab in the Inspector.
