Installing FileMaker Pro (macOS)

  1. After downloading the file for FileMaker Pro, double-click the disk image icon (.dmg file).

  2. Drag the FileMaker Pro application to the Applications folder shortcut.

    If a previous version is already installed, you can choose to replace it or stop and make a copy of the previous version first (see Upgrading FileMaker Pro from a previous version).

  3. Start FileMaker Pro and follow the onscreen instructions.

  4. In the FileMaker Pro License dialog, click Enter License. Click Browse and choose the license certificate file you downloaded.
