Host databases for OData access

1. Complete the steps in Enable OData access in databases.

2. Check that OData access to FileMaker Pro databases is enabled and properly configured in FileMaker Cloud or FileMaker Server Admin Console. See FileMaker Cloud Help and FileMaker Server Help.

3. Verify that the web server and the OData Listener are running.

4. Use encryption for communication.

   OData requires that you use an HTTPS connection. HTTPS connections use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption for communication.

   The programming language or technology used to call the OData API must support Transport Layer Security (TLS) v1.2 to communicate with the web server.
