What's new in Claris Studio

September 23, 2025 ✨

Organization station

  • New sorting options for hubs let you organize by name, number of views, number of users, or number of tables—find what you need faster when managing multiple hubs.

  • New Expand All and Collapse All buttons let you manage all your hubs and data sources at once, allowing you to cut through the clutter when you have lots of content.

  • Your collapse or expand preferences are remembered between sessions, so your workspace stays organized exactly how you left it.

Fields finally get their moment

  • The Fields section in the properties pane is now easier to discover and access—no more hunting around for unused fields you want to add back to a view.

  • You can also resize the section by clicking and dragging the bar in the section header.

Bulk cleanup made easy

  • New bulk delete experience for archived views lets you select and remove multiple views at once, streamlining workspace cleanup. Click the checkbox next to the archived views you want to delete, then click Delete Selected to permanently delete them.

  • Delete individual non-archived views directly, or tackle a whole batch of archived views in one go—your choice.

Speed boost for data operations

  • Record deletion is now significantly faster when working with large datasets, thanks to behind-the-scenes performance improvements.

  • CSV imports with massive record counts (like 25,000+ rows) now analyze field types much more efficiently during the import process.

Selective field importing

  • When creating the initial connection to a FileMaker data source, you can now choose exactly which fields to import in the field mapping dialog instead of bringing over everything—perfect for those FileMaker tables with many fields where you only need a few.

Hinweis  You can only do this when you first connect a FileMaker data source. If you need to change which fields are synced, you'll need to recreate the data source.

  • FileMaker summary fields are no longer supported for import—they won't appear in the field mapping dialog and will be removed from existing Claris Studio views during syncs.
