Custom-separated values format

You can import or convert custom-separated values files and specify the character that separates field values.

Importing custom-separated values files

•You can choose whether FileMaker Pro Advanced uses a specified row of data in the file as field names.

•All fields are text fields.

Converting custom-separated values files

•You can convert files in this format only when using the Convert File script step.

•You can choose whether FileMaker Pro Advanced uses a specified row of data in the file as field names.
