In Browse mode, you add information in a database file by entering data in records. For example, you can:
•type information into fields; see Entering and changing data in fields
•enter preset data from a value list; see Entering preset data from a value list
•copy and paste data; see Copying and moving data in records
•insert information like the current date into a field; see Inserting the current date or other variables into a field
•copy and paste images and videos, and insert files (such as word processing files or PDF files) into container fields; see Using data in container fields
•import data; see Importing data into FileMaker Pro Advanced
•use lookups or relationships to copy or display data from other database files; see Working with related tables
