Specifying printer and paper options (Mac OS)FileMaker Pro prints to the Mac OS default printer unless you choose a different printer when you print. You can specify different paper options for each FileMaker Pro file.
1.
2. In most cases, leave Any Printer selected. Choose a specific printer only if you use it exclusively to print your documents.
3. These paper size, orientation, and scale options will be saved with the current file and will be used when you print any layout in this file.
4. Click OK.
• Each time you print to a different printer from FileMaker Pro or another Mac OS program, you also change your Mac OS default printer.
• If you regularly print a particular layout to a different printer or with different paper options — for example, to print labels or print on a pre-printed form — you may want to create a script that prints the layout for you. This script could contain Print Setup and Print script steps that would store and recall the particular printer and paper options that you want. For more information, see Creating scripts to automate tasks, Print Setup script step, and Print script step.
• Use the Print Center application to set up new printers in Mac OS. For more information, see Mac Help.
