Managing plug-ins

FileMaker Server can use external function plug-ins with hosted FileMaker Pro databases that are designed to use the Install Plug-In File script step. When hosted databases use plug-ins enabled on FileMaker Server, the FileMaker Script Engine (FMSE), the Web Publishing Engine, and the FileMaker Data API can run plug-in functions rather than client machines.
