Working with external data sources
After you've added a data source, you can specify options for FileMaker data sources and ODBC data sources.

To access FileMaker data sources, you define a reference to that file. See Editing FileMaker data sources.

To access a Claris Studio data source, you identify the tables you want to work with, then add the external Claris Studio table in the relationships graph. There are no options to specify for the data source itself. See Working with a Claris Studio data source.

To access ODBC data sources, you must set up a driver for the data source, connect to the data source name (DSN), identify the tables you want to work with in that data source, and then add the external table in the relationships graph. See Editing ODBC data sources.
