Quote

Returns the text form of text enclosed in quotation marks.

Description 

This function protects text from being evaluated by the Evaluate function. Special characters within text are escaped appropriately.

Example 1 

Quote ( "hello" ) returns "hello".

Quote ( "abc\¶" ) returns "abc\¶".

Quote ( "say \"hello\" fred" ) returns "say \"hello\" fred".

Example 2 

Evaluate ( Quote ( "1 + 2" ) ) returns 1 + 2.

Example 3 

Evaluate ( "1 + 2&" & Quote ( " - 1 + 2" ) ) returns 3 - 1 + 2.
