Working with the Scripts menu A script folder appears as a submenu in the Scripts menu. In Windows, FileMaker Pro lists as many scripts and folders in the Scripts menu as will fit on a screen, depending on screen resolution and the length of script or folder names. To scroll through additional scripts and folder submenus, click the triangle at the bottom of the list. In OS X, the Scripts menu is scrollable, and the maximum number of scripts listed is not limited by screen size or resolution. In both Windows and OS X, FileMaker Pro assigns keyboard shortcuts to the first ten scripts. 1. Choose Scripts menu > Script Workspace. 2. In the scripts pane, make your changes. To Do this Add a script or folder to the Scripts menu Do one of the following: • Select the checkbox to the left of the script or folder in the list. • Right-click the script name or folder, then choose Include in Scripts Menu. Reorder scripts or folders in the Scripts menu Drag the script name or folder to the desired location. Remove a script or folder from the Scripts menu Do one of the following: • Clear the checkbox to the left of the script or folder in the list. • Right-click the script name or folder, then choose Exclude from Scripts Menu. Notes • To display checkboxes to the left of script names and folders in the scripts pane, click . • To visually separate items in the Scripts menu, create a separator. In the scripts pane, select the script name or folder above where you want the separator, then click .
