Printing Data

These instructions assume that you've set up your printer to work with your device.

Print records

  1. Tap Actions menu icon, then tap Layout Select layout icon to select the layout to use. FileMaker Go prints records using the current layout.
  2. Tap Actions menu icon, then tap Print Printer icon.
  3. Choose print setup options.
  4. Tap Print.
  5. Choose printer options, then tap Print.

For Do This
Record Range

Choose Current Record to print only the record currently selected.

Choose Found Set to print all the records in the found set.

Choose one of the following options to print a blank record without any data:

  • Blank Record (As Formatted) prints a blank record using the current format.
  • Blank Record (With Underlines) underlines text fields.
  • Blank Record (With Boxes) adds a border for each field.
  • Blank Record (With Placeholder Text) prints a blank record showing placeholder text.
Number Pages From Specify the starting page number for the printed version.
Page Range Choose All Pages, or specify the start and end pages of the range you want to print.
Paper Size

Choose the printer paper size.
Orientation Tap Portrait icon for portrait or Landscape icon for landscape (horizontal) orientation.
Scale Choose an available option from the list, or tap Custom % to specify a scale.
Maximum Image DPI Choose an available options from the list. Choose Full DPI to print the data at its full resolution for maximum quality.
