Saving OLE objects in their original formats (Windows)FileMaker Pro 12 does not support inserting OLE objects into container fields or on layouts. If your FileMaker Pro database includes OLE objects, after converting the database, you can activate and save the OLE objects using their original applications.
1. Double-click the object in the field or on the layout. Or choose Edit menu > Object > Open <file type>.
• To edit an OLE object, double-click the object, then choose Edit menu > Object > Edit <file type>. Make your changes, then click outside the object to save the changes.
• You cannot export OLE objects from a FileMaker Pro 12 or earlier database.
