Inserting QuickTime movies and multimedia into fieldsYou can add a QuickTime or QuickTime VR movie to a record by inserting it into a container field. You can also insert other multimedia file formats supported by QuickTime, such as sound files and MPEG video files. 1. In Browse mode, click a container field.
2. If this menu item is dimmed, either you do not have Apple QuickTime software installed on your computer (Windows), or the field is an interactive container. See Working with content in interactive containers.Mac OS: Select Show Preview to show a frame of the movie in the dialog box.
4. Click Open.
• You can also drag the file from Windows Explorer (Windows) or the Finder (Mac OS) into the container field.
• FileMaker Pro doesn't import the file; it only stores a reference to the file and keeps track of where it is on your hard disk.
