BaseTableNames

Returns a list of all base table names in fileName.

BaseTableNames ( fileName )

Parameters 

fileName - the name of an open database file (local or remote).

Listed items are separated by carriage returns.

Notes 

  • You need access to an external file for this function to show the file's tables.
  • By default, Full Access is required to use references to an external file.

Example 1 

BaseTableNames ( "University Database" ) returns tables

Coaches

for the University Database database file if a Teachers table and a Coaches table have been defined for the file.
