Update notifications

Claris Pro: Check the Resources page in Claris Studio for the latest version. If you have an earlier version installed, uninstall it before installing the latest version.

FileMaker Pro: The software automatically checks for software updates and upgrades to new software versions. You can update your software when you receive the update notification, or by choosing Help menu > Check for Updates. (You cannot upgrade your software from one major version to another this way; see Upgrading FileMaker Pro from a previous version (FileMaker Pro only).) You can turn off notifications by choosing Edit menu > Preferences (Windows) or FileMaker Pro menu > Preferences (macOS).
